Hey writers! Earlier this month, we introduced our first set of Writer Swag badges… and now we’re back with more! This time, we’re all about celebrating your progress and each important moment along the way.
NaNoWriMo is as much about the journey as it is the destination. It’s important to celebrate those first amazing 5,000 words and sprinting your way past 50,000, which is easy to do with our new Milestone Badges.
Designed by Liz Leo, this collection includes two types of badges designed to fit different writing styles and goals:
- Word Count Badges: Track your progress in increments all the way up to that prized 50,000 word goal. Whether you’re hitting your daily targets or celebrating a weekend writing binge, there’s a badge for each key milestone along the way.
- Percentage Badges: For all those NaNo Rebels out there! Maybe you’re revising, working on short stories, or writing something totally outside the box. These badges mark progress in percentages rather than word counts so everyone can join in the celebration.
We’ve also got: Experience Badges!
Designed by Lucie Lane, these badges celebrate the many behind-the-scenes achievements, like joining a word sprint, telling your friends and family about your project, or backing up your novel (we cannot stress enough how important this one is!).
We love these badges because NaNoWriMo isn’t just about hitting a goal. It’s about being part of a community; one with all sorts of weird and fun little novel-writing rituals that help remind you we’re all in this together.
