What's a Dare?

Dares are small character, story, setting, or scene challenges to help you add words to your story, whether through absurdity or by giving you the spark you need to get to the next spot in the story. Dares on this page are appropriate for all ages.

Back in the Novembres of yore, when groups often met in person to do their writing, some kept a physical box of dares with user-submitted cards, hence the name.
